What is Liquid BBL?

The Liquid BBL are the revolutionised, minimally invasive way of adding volume to the posterior. In a similar way that filler has been cosmetically used to boost the appearance of the nose, lips and cheeks; it can now help you attain the rounded rear you’ve always wanted…

Buttock / Hip fillers are a fast and effective way to get the buttock shape you desire, without the need for surgery.

Liquid BBL information

Non-surgical butt lift (also called bum filler) is a butt lift done without surgery. Instead of liposuction and fat transfer usually used in Brazilian Buttock Lift (BBL) -which are both semi-invasive surgical procedures- a non-surgical buttlift instead uses injectable dermal fillers Hyaluronic acid to round, sculpture and shape out the buttocks in essentially the same manner that a surgical treatment would do but it much safer.

It is an excellent way for you to achieve safely and easily the butt you have always dreamed of!

Bum filler can give you a better shaped bum, a bigger bum and fill your hip dips.

We advise a minimum of 100ml of filler for a noticeable difference and offer up to 400ml per sitting.

Please note that any treatment over 400ml will have to be split over 2 sessions depending on the nurses discretion. This can be discussed at the clinic.

A consultation is encouraged in order to establish the amount you need.

Dermal fillers are generally considered safe when administered by a licensed and trained medical professional. However, like any medical procedure, there are potential risks and side effects associated with the use of dermal fillers.

Some potential risks of dermal fillers include:

  • Infection: There is a risk of infection from any injection, including dermal fillers. In some cases, infection can lead to serious complications.
  • Allergic reactions: Some people may be allergic to the materials used in dermal fillers, which can cause an allergic reaction.
  • Hematomas: Hematomas or bruises can occur at the injection site, particularly if a blood vessel is inadvertently punctured in the face or lips.
  • Nerve damage: There is a risk of nerve damage if the filler is injected too deeply or in the wrong location. However With the Liquid BBL we keep within the Epidermis when numbing locally and then use a cannula to place the filler eliminating risk of hitting a nerve. This particular risk is mainly associated with facial filler treatments.

It is important to discuss the potential risks and side effects of dermal fillers with our qualified medical professional before undergoing the procedure.

Liquid BBL FAQs

What is a Liquid BBL and how does it work?

The Liquid BBL (non-surgical bum lift) uses strategically placed dermal filler injections to add volume, lift, and improve the shape of the buttocks without surgery. By targeting specific areas with a premium bio-stimulating or hyaluronic acid filler, we can create projection, roundness, and a lifted appearance that mimics the results of a surgical Brazilian Butt Lift — without incisions, anaesthesia, or recovery time.

How is the Liquid BBL different from a surgical BBL?

A surgical BBL involves liposuction followed by fat transfer into the buttocks under general anaesthesia — a major procedure with significant risks and a lengthy recovery. The Liquid BBL is non-surgical, performed in under 90 minutes with no anaesthesia, minimal downtime, and no scarring. Results are more subtle than surgery but deliver genuine, visible improvement with a fraction of the risk and recovery.

What results can I expect from a Liquid BBL?

Clients can expect improved roundness, added projection, a lifted appearance, and smoother contour of the buttocks. Results vary depending on starting anatomy and the volume of product used, but most clients achieve a noticeably enhanced shape that’s natural-looking from clothing and flattering in a swimsuit. The treatment is particularly effective for creating a rounder, more projected result without surgical intervention.

How long does the Liquid BBL last?

Results typically last 12–18 months, depending on the type of filler used, your individual metabolism, and your activity level. Bio-stimulating fillers can trigger collagen production that extends the effects beyond the initial product longevity. A maintenance top-up is recommended at 12–18 months to sustain results. With repeated treatments, the collagen stimulation can produce increasingly durable outcomes.

Does a Liquid BBL hurt?

A topical numbing cream is applied before treatment, and some products also contain lidocaine. Clients report mild discomfort during injection — a pressure or stinging sensation — but the treatment is generally very well tolerated. The area may feel tender and bruised for a few days afterwards, similar to other filler treatments.

What is the downtime after a Liquid BBL?

Downtime is minimal compared to surgical alternatives. You may experience some tenderness, swelling, and bruising in the treated area for 2–5 days. We advise avoiding sitting directly on the buttocks for extended periods for 24 hours where possible, and refraining from strenuous lower-body exercise for 48–72 hours. Most clients return to normal daily activities within a day or two.

Is the Liquid BBL safe?

When performed by a trained practitioner with thorough anatomical knowledge, the Liquid BBL using regulated filler products is a safe treatment. The buttock area contains significant vasculature, which is why practitioner expertise and product choice are critical. We do not use permanent fillers or unregulated products. All treatments at Crystalline Clinic are carried out following strict safety protocols.

Who is a suitable candidate for the Liquid BBL?

The Liquid BBL is best suited to clients who want improved shape, projection, or lift without surgery, and who are at or near a healthy, stable weight. It’s not a weight loss treatment and cannot replicate the dramatic volume change possible with surgery. Clients who are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have active infections in the treatment area are not suitable. A full consultation is required before every treatment.

How many Liquid BBL sessions do I need?

Many clients achieve their desired result in one session, though a second session 4–6 weeks later can enhance and build upon initial results. Subsequent maintenance appointments are recommended every 12–18 months. We’ll outline a realistic treatment plan at consultation based on your anatomy and goals.

When will I see results from the Liquid BBL?

Results are visible immediately after treatment. Initial swelling may make the area appear slightly fuller than the final settled result, which is typically apparent at 2 weeks. Bio-stimulating filler effects also continue to improve over 2–3 months as collagen production is stimulated.

Can I sit down after a Liquid BBL?

We recommend minimising direct pressure on the treated area for 24 hours after treatment to allow product to settle optimally. If you must sit, use a cushion or try to distribute weight away from the directly treated zones. After 24 hours, normal sitting is fine.

Can I exercise after a Liquid BBL?

Avoid strenuous lower-body exercise — squats, running, cycling, heavy leg press — for at least 48–72 hours after treatment. Light walking is fine. Returning to full training after 72 hours is generally safe, but listen to your body and avoid any movements that cause significant discomfort in the treated area.

Will the Liquid BBL look natural?

Yes — when appropriately dosed and expertly placed, a Liquid BBL enhances your natural shape rather than creating an artificial look. We focus on symmetry, proportion to your existing frame, and natural projection. The result should look like your body at its best, not artificially augmented.

Is the Liquid BBL the same as the ‘bum filler’ trend on TikTok?

The Liquid BBL uses established dermal filler techniques adapted for buttock enhancement — it’s a legitimate aesthetic procedure when performed correctly. Some content on social media glamorises very large volumes or unsafe products. At Crystalline Clinic, we use only regulated products in appropriate quantities, guided by clinical best practice, not social media trends.

How much does a Liquid BBL cost in London?

Pricing is available on our website and varies depending on the volume of product required.
